Another collaboration w/ the folks from Rapanui Clothing, although this time it was for one of the biggest events on the Isle of Wight, the Bestival, rumour has it the shirt design we both created was worn by a few famous people at the actual event itself
This is the first of many bits of work I have done for Eco-Clothing company Rapanui. The Poster's I have design will be part of the Point of Sale Display that will be used in the clothing outlets they will be supplying.
has been about 6 months since my last business card design so I thought it was time for a new one. I decided to use a technique I had used on a previous project where I manually pixelated an image, creating a more abstract effect.
For one of the pages of my final major project I decided to freeze a pair of sunglasses and photograph it (as you do) I was very impressed by some of the abstract effects I achieved
After seeing the cover of Stefan Sagmeister's made you look book I decided to have a go and converting a few of my photos in to anaglyphs (3D red and blue)
I was inspired by a poster I saw on a bus ride stating the symptomless nature of Chlamydia by saying it's invisible. I decided to show this by hiding the text in a pattern of lines. I decided to use magenta as a colour because allthough men are capable of catching Chlamydia, it affects women much more.
The main reason behind this project was to help me get in touch with drawing again, in which I used a makeshift lightbox to draw the image of the barmaid. I was initially going to colour it using pens aswell but decided against that and coloured it in using illustrator giving it a pop art feel to it.
