Wight Trash Logo and T-Shirt
Here is a new Logo I designed for actions sports brand Wight Trash, having looked at current extreme sports logos I came to the conclusion that the designs there were very aggressive, a characteristic in which the logo for Wight Trash needed to be, I decided to use the Isle of Wight map as a template to fit the letters W and T in, the isle of wight diamond gave the letters the aggressive look i was after. The logo was so greatly received that the logo got put in to production on their latest T-shirt

Muse Greatest Hits CD Cover (Personal Project)
I decided a while a go to make a Best of Muse playlist on itunes. After making the playlist I decided to go a step further, give the playlist a name and create a unique bit of accompanying album artwork for it. After looking at muse's previous album artwork for inspiration, they tended to the theme of outer space and conspiracy theories a lot, this gave me the scope to name my playlist parallel universe. the red and blue moire patterns represent the 2 universes.

Chlamydia Is Invisible
I was inspired by a poster I saw on a bus ride stating the symptomless nature of Chlamydia by saying it's invisible. I decided to show this by hiding the text in a pattern of lines. I decided to use magenta as a colour because allthough men are capable of catching Chlamydia, it affects women much more.

Imperial Leisure Landlords Daughter Cover (Personal Project)
The main reason behind this project was to help me get in touch with drawing again, in which I used a makeshift lightbox to draw the image of the barmaid. I was initially going to colour it using pens aswell but decided against that and coloured it in using illustrator giving it a pop art feel to it.

Muse Uprising Cover (Personal Project)
After looking through my portfolio, I wanted to do something a little different, With that in mind I devised a project that would provide the medium to try out new techniques. For my take on Muse's Single Cover Uprising, I decided to depict a futuristic revolution scene. After looking at a lot of old propaganda posters from the 1920's and 1930's I was inspired enough to try drawing my imagery then colour halftone them in photoshop.

Letterpress Wall Mural
This Letterpress Mural was a collaboration by myself and fellow freelance graphic designer Adam Downer (http://adamdownerdesign.blogspot.com/) under the guidance of our Universiry tutor.
We were all in agreement that it was the best way to advertise the BA Hons Graphic Design Course and the 2009 Degree Show. It was also a good opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of letterpress printing (which the university now has the means to do) As far as I know the mural is still being displayed outside the Graphic Design studio of Southampton Solent University today.

Final Major Project (What Is Autism)
For my Final Major Project I decided to explore the characteristics of the Autistic Spectrum. Being on the spectrum myself I saw it as a good opportunity to understand how my mind works and educate people who also didn't know how autistic people see the world.
In terms of a graphic design style I was encouraged to experiment and take risks. I feel that I have with a combination of unique photography and type manipulation in an attempt to put a viewer in the shoes of someone on the autistic spectrum.
As well as the photography and the type I also used a variety of techniques for the format of the book. These include Embossing, Laser Cutting and Sew Binding, these techniques gave my book a more sensual feel to it.
